Chain can be used easily by adding a clasp to desired length to create necklaces and bracelets. Also, chain links make great additions to chandelier-style earrings.

Unlike gold-plated chain, gold-filled chain has a layer of gold that has been heat and pressure bonded onto another material, usually brass. Gold-filled chain can withstand more wear than gold-plated chain and it will not tarnish. By weight, 1/20th of the metal content of the chain is 14k gold.
