Bangles and Beads was created by a mother and daughter team in 1985. It primarily carried jewelry with a small collection of beads. Today, with the addition of a third generation, the store has expanded into one of the largest collections of beads and jewelry supplies in the United States.
Covered from floor to ceiling in beads from around the world, you can find all of your beading needs at Bangles and Beads. Besides beads, the store also carries crystal brooches, beaded curtains, tassels, feathers, chandelier drops, sterling jewelry, handbags, scarves and more.
Jewelry designer, Amy Howarth, has an endless supply of beautiful designs for sale around the store to inspire even the most advanced of beaders.
The staff is overwhelmingly friendly and knowledgeable, ready to assist you with any beading questions you might have. They offer great advice on what materials to use for any given project. They also give easy instructions to beginners on how to make a necklace or pair of earrings.
For a more advanced and conclusive know-how on jewelry making, a class is offered on every Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. For only $30 you can learn all of the techniques you need to know to make earrings, bracelets and necklaces. If there is anything you want to learn that is not covered in the Sunday class, Bangles and Beads will be happy to offer you an individual class during the week.
